Route

The tour covers a track of nearly 200 kilometres; from city to city, along lakes, rivers and canals, through the open country side and passing under many bridges.

The tour traditionally starts and finishes in Leeuwarden, the capital city of the province Fryslan and leads the participants from Leeuwarden to consecutively Sneek, IJlst, Sloten, Stavoren Hindeloopen, Workum, Bolsward, Harlingen, Franeker, Dokkum and along the famous canal, The Bonkefeart, back to the finish line in Leeuwarden.
