Arie Smit was last present as a regular volunteer at the office of the Royal Association of the Friesian Eleven Cities on April 30th. For over 38 years, he was responsible for, among other things, membership administration. Many of you may have encountered him at the Annual General Meeting, where he, along with Sjoerdtje Mulder, ensured that your membership card was scanned upon arrival. We would like to sincerely thank Arie for his years of dedicated service, and we will miss him!
