Invitation to the Annual General Meeting
We cordially invite you to the Annual General Meeting of the Association, which will take place on Saturday, December 14th at the WestCord WTC Hotel in Leeuwarden. The meeting will also be available online via your personal page on our website https://leden.elfstedentocht.frl/.
If you have any comments, questions, or other matters related to the agenda and the accompanying documents, please send them via email to secretariaat@defriescheelfsteden.nl by Monday, December 9th.

Jan Bakker is due for retirement according to regulations and stands for re-election. The board recommends his re-election.
Joost de Graaf is due for retirement and is not eligible for re-election. The board nominates Arvid Munzebrock as a new board member for Medical Affairs and Doping Control. Arvid, a trauma surgeon at MCL in Leeuwarden, has been working with the board for most of the past year to ensure a smooth transition.
Wiep Schuurmans is due for retirement and is not eligible for re-election. The board nominates Chris Sytsma as a new board member for ICT, Connections, and Transportation. Chris, an information manager at the Antonius Hospital in Sneek, has also been working to ensure a smooth handover.
Wiebe Wieling, the current chairman, is due for retirement and is not eligible for re-election at the Annual General Meeting of December 13, 2025. The board has found Jan Bakker, the current race and event leader, willing to succeed Wiebe as chairman of the Association. The board proposes to appoint Jan Bakker as incoming chairman, ensuring a smooth transition. A new race and event leader will be sought in 2025, who will take over from Jan during the Annual General Meeting of December 13, 2025.
